PCMH Auxiliary Makes Donation for CPR Education

The PCMH Auxiliary recently donated $2400 to purchase 16 new manikins for the hospital.  “This allows the hospital to continue to offer CPR classes to our employees, the public, and area businesses,” commented Stephani Breig, RN, PCMH Education Director.  The new manikins were needed because the American Heart Association is requiring that all new manikins include a feedback device to be in service by January 2019.  Without these new manikins, CPR certification cannot be attained.

The PCMH Auxiliary raises funds for these purchases throughout the year with their various fundraisers like bake sales, jewelry sales, and sales featuring sheets, scrubs, shoes, etc.  For more information on joining the PCMH Auxiliary, contact Clyde Schremp at 768-3488.
